Ireland 2025
We visited the Republic of Ireland for 15 days from May 13 to May 29, 2025. Our travels were concentrated in the southern and western parts of the country.
We flew from SFO to Dublin where we spent three nights and explored the historic sights of the city.
We got a rental car and drove south and west, to Glendalough, Cashel and Mizen Head on the West Coast of County Cork.
We took a day trip from Killarney to the Dingle Peninsula, visiting Slea Head Drive, the Blasket Centre and Gallarus Oratory.
We spent the whole day driving the Ring of Kerry and the Skellig Ring, with the Kerry Cliffs as the highlight.
We headed to Birr, Clonmacnoise, Athlone, Trim and Newgrange, making our way back to Dublin to fly home.
