Malaysia

We took a winter trip to Malaysia to visit the cities of Kuala Lumpur and George Town, the rural area of Cameron Highlands and the beach resort of Langkawi Island.
We drove about three hours north on the Malaysian Peninsula to Cameron Highlands, a farming area specializing in tea, fruit and flowering plants.
From Cameron Highlands, we drove approximately three hours farther north and crossed a bridge to Penang Island.
We flew about 80 miles from Penang to the resort Island of Langkawi in the Andaman Sea where we spent five nights.
We flew from Langkawi to Kuala Lumpur for three nights before flying home via Singapore.
